The Aquamira Frontier Emergency Filter is the perfect addition to your Bug-Out-Bag. This small, life saving filter can be used to filer up to 30 gallons of water anywhere, at any time. Weighing only 1 ounce, the Frontier Filter adds virtually no load to your pack, but removes greater than 99.9% Cryptosporidium and Giardia as well as Chlorine, bad tastes and odors.

How to use it:

1. Simply remove the straw and filter from the resealable bag
2. Insert the straw into the smaller end of the filter
   ***FIRST TIME USE*** To avoid carbon dust(harmless, but still doesn’t taste good) draw water through the filter and about halfway up the straw. Remove the straw and discard the water, from there you can reattach the straw and drink normally.
3. Do not submerge the straw in contaminated water
4. Allow the filter 48 hours to air dry before storing away

The Aquamira Emergency Filter meets or exceeds the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) Standard 42 for chlorine, taste, and odor reduction. Also Standard 53 for cyst removal.
